How to Qualify

QUALIFY FOR APPT SEASON 3 WITH POKERSTARS!

Over 1772  players were attracted to APPT Season 2 events which offered a prize pool totaling USD $4,998,268. There were 465  players who qualified on PokerStars and many went on to cash.

Now it’s time to challenge yourself on Asia Pacific’s record breaking poker tour.

QUALIFY ONLINE

PokerStars is giving everyone a chance to win a seat at the APPT. You can even qualify for free using your PokerStars Frequent Player Points.

And don’t miss our APPT Steps satellites for a great way to qualify. It’s simple: enter in at any level to take on 8 players in a single table tournament. If you finish in the top two, you’ll move up to the next step.

Make it to Step 6 and you’ll have the chance to battle it out for an APPT package that includes your buy-in, luxury accommodation.

Don’t worry if you finish outside the top two. You’ll take a step down but you’ll have another chance to fight your way back up the ladder. For more details, see the APPT Steps pages.

HOW TO PLAY

Playing APPT satellites on PokerStars is easy. If you’re not already a PokerStars player, first download the free PokerStars software by clicking here.

Once you’ve installed the software, it’s time to create an account. See the Getting Started page for a step-by-step guide, or watch our Virtual Tour and let Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu guide you through the process.

Then, once you’re in the PokerStars lobby, click “Events” then “APPT” and you’re ready to register for the satellite of your choice. Click the “Tourney Lobby” button to make your buy-in.
